Conductive Energy Weapon (CEW) Certification

TRFTA believes the more options a security officer has to choose from, the better their ability to avoid the possible use of deadly force options.  With this in mind TRFTA is proud to announce the introduction of Conductive Energy Weapon (CEW) - Operator.

This course is a 6-hour in-person instructor led course resulting in operator level certification using a Conductive Energy Weapon (CEW).

In-classroom instruction will cover a multitude of areas including but not limited to;

- legal considerations to use less lethal force

- CEW device carrying options

- presentation/drawing

- storage

- loading and unloading techniques

- documentation/report writing considerations

- deployment practical exercises and understanding probe deployment

***STUDENT EXPOSURE ("hit with") NOT A REQUIREMENT FOR CERTIFICATION***

TRFTA will PROVIDE CEW handles and cartridges used for training!!!!!
